Catherine Hennessy has been taking photographs professionally since 1985 and has had her work shown in galleries in New Orleans, New York City, and Philadelphia. Catherine Hennessy Photography, her company, was established in 1999, and she has personally shot over 200 weddings, plus numerous bar mitzvahs, and other special events since. Her portrait work encompasses intimate family and child portraits, as well as headshots and stylized portraiture for artists, musicians, and the corporate world.

The style at Catherine Hennessy Photography is photojournalistic - we follow the action. We take hundreds of candids alongside the more formal portraiture of your wedding or event to show the day as you remember it. And as a result, we are often told that looking at our pictures is like living the day all over again.
